20th March 2020
As the global COVID-19 crisis continues to evolve, I am certain that many of you will have questions regarding how iStaySafe will be delivering our service to you. I want to assure you we will be continuing to operate and can share with you our plans for the weeks ahead.
Over the past week our Executive team has been working together to establish strategies that will allow iStaySafe to continue providing the high level of service that you are used to, whilst at the same time maintaining the health and wellbeing of our employees, suppliers and customers. Taking into consideration advice from both State and Federal Health Departments, we believe the best way to maintain everyone’s health and wellbeing is by limiting contact between people.
As such the following measures are being employed:
- As of Monday the 23rd of March 2020, all staff will commence working from home until such time as it is recommended to return to normal operating conditions.
- Our front-line staff have been instructed to avoid face-face meetings and move to online alternatives.
- All training will be facilitated via online video conferencing.
- All air travel for business has been cancelled/postponed.
- Attendance at any business events have been cancelled.
As a technology company, iStaySafe already has a well-established capacity to support our staff working remotely. This includes secure servers, VPN’s with multi factor authentication and VOIP telephones to allow our customer service team to continue operating as normal. In addition, our service teams will be holding inventory off-site so we can continue to process orders and supply product when needed. As a business we are already utilising cloud-based messaging and conference systems so are well placed to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
I realise that these are uncertain times for everyone in the community, however as a company we believe that by putting these measures in place, we are doing all we can to continue servicing our customers while maintaining the health and well-being of our staff.
I would like to thank everyone for their support and believe that by working together we can overcome these challenges and return to normal as soon as possible. Should you have any specific concerns around our service delivery during this time please email email@example.com or call 1300 872 256.
